pandora on 2.1 vs root 2.2

    I have downgraded to 2.1 and back to using my hotspot .the Pandora sounds far better than on 2.2. Can anyone on rooted 2.2 tell me if the Pandora sounds good on it.

    I use Pandora in 2.2 and you are right it doesn't sound as good. I tend to flash back and forth between 2.2 and 2.1

    2.2 broke some codec compatibility issues with pandora. its widely known and had been documented on googles forum...

    Just switch to Jango it sounds excellent over wifi and 3G.

    Any of you guys using rooted 2.2? Is it worth it since u can still use Sprint hotspot free on 2.1?

    I'll have to try it out and get back to you fellas. I'm running Fresh 3.1.0.2 w/ Kings kernel.

    You can remove the stagefront or whatever its called from http media and Pandora will sound like it used to again.

    I don't use WiFi tether so I dont know. I did here it works with the right kernel.
