I created a password folder on a web server (website) with video content in. And wanted to stream it to android phones. But the web browser wants to open it in 'Movies' or to download it. But movies decides it cant play it, but if i move it to non protected area it works? there is an app for everything is there one for this?

First of all, why do you need to password protect your videos? Are they porn videos or something? Just curious.....

Secondly, I use DLNA to stream my videos to my phone. The best ones out there are Orb & Plex. I have both but typically use Plex (Even though the UI isn't very well organized :( ). If I have a solid (And I do mean SOLID) 4G signal, I generally have little to no problem at all streaming videos using either app (Unless of course the server and/or my PC crashes that is)

You can find the apps to both Orb & Plex on GP

Hope this helps.....

Cheers :D
