I'm sure there are a few here who have purchased their nexus 7 already, and I was wandering (before I add my payment details etc) is out possible to pay for the tablet on a monthly basis, say

Should maybe add that I'm in the UK.lol

Argos do a store card thing so they are a possibility, if I can talk myself into really needing one! What can I really do on it, that I can't on my s2.lol

You could potentially find a very trusting friend that can afford it for you and slowly pay them back with maybe a solid $75+ down payment.

I'm just trying to convince myself I really do needed one now! Lol....

Think the store card is the best option at the moment, as I'm due inheritance at some point, just don't know when.lol.

Thanks for the ideas though :)

Save your money up in advance. It's an old-fashioned way of doing things but it works.

If it is that big of an issue it will give you time to decide if you really want it or not in the time you are saving up.

I agree with saving up. I try to never buy anything that I can't pay cash for.

I still use credit cards to earn points and stuff, I just pay them off immediately.

And strider is absolutely right on one of the benefits: a little time to save up after the excitement of, "I'm going to buy this!" gives you a cooling-off period to make sure you really want/need it, and it wasn't just an impulse.
