    Job Description


    ResponsibilitiesDevelop innovative software using industry best practices for software design and development in Java and the Android platform Create mobile-based tools, utilities, and APIs in response to product requirements and functional specifications Contribute to ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the architecture of our mobile applications Participate in functional and technical specifications development, software architecture review and maintenance, code design and reviews Write and execute unit tests
    Requirements Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS, an engineering discipline, or comparable industry experience in mobile and/or web development Minimum 1+ years of experience in hands-on mobile development for Android Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development Thorough understanding of Java and the Android platform. Must have written at least one application that is available in the Android Marketplace. Experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL databases, HTML/CSS, AJAX, XML, and PHP, Python Experience developing applications with client-server communications Experience with a structured software development process (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) Experience with source control systems (e.g. Subversion)
