Using Google Chrome, I just noticed this ad overlay issue.
Love it, thanks
As reported those are the only two issues I've come across the ad overlay and the menu in a different location i hope this helps
2 bugs to report:
1- the thread search feature does not work on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (which is the reason that I don't know if #2 has been pointed out).
2- the website no longer renders properly on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 stock browser. There's an extra half inch black bar running down the right side of the screen when scrolling or zooming out. As far as i can tell this is the only website that will do that.
These were both included in the feedback report I sent, I believe, but will ask if they've had time to look at it.
Thread rendering has gone wonky again.
On it, glad it wasn't just me, thanks!
Thanks Pup-was just gonna post it up as well
If it is any help, it seems to be related to quoting posts. Threads with no quoted posts are rendering fine.
Yeah I think they are working on the youtube quoting bug..
Well its fixed now - look at that turnaround time.
Thanks Phases and the team behind the scenes!
Since visiting the forums a few hours ago I see that the microscopic font issue in Chrome is now a thing of the past. To all those involved, my eyes thank you.
Every forum DOES need a phases. We're just the lucky ones that got one.
I just found a bug that (I assume) is related to this install (since the timing would be eerily coincidental otherwise):
I can delete that post if it's answered here (or vice versa) -- for those of us that only subscribe to the forums, themselves; there's been nothing since June 22nd or so (around the time of this launch).
Can those please be re instituted? (or, if there's a place to find them, please point me in that direction!) Thanks!
Anything? Anything? Bueller? Bueller?
Sorry for the delayed response.
We're checking, will get back to you.
Thanks! I appreciate that ... I was wondering why my daily dose of Android news had decreased sharply
Don't know if this will help, but we've got a pretty nice app just for our news site -
I also like following them on twitter using Tweet Lanes, nice phone app.
Of course - not the same as a forum feed, but thought I'd toss that out just in case, while we track this down. Escalated the question, so hopefully we'll have an answer soon.
Thanks for helping out with this ...
Obviously, the app for the news site is useful, but I actually find the community messages to be even better ... but, I don't want a feed of EVERYTHING (since there are phones/apps that aren't even compatible with what I have) -- I had subscribed to a bunch of specific forums, which I then read on a daily basis.
I'm hoping, it's as simple as just "turning the switch" back on
Ok, here's the skinny - that feature probably got switched off in an effort to reduce server load (you know, get rid of slow loading times, etc etc). It's been sent upstairs and they're looking into it for you.
Ok - you'll get the rest of it at - http://androidforums.com/suggestion-box-feedback/608465-rss-feeds.html
Thanks! I appreciate the follow-up.
Odd, I didn't think RSS feeds impacted server load (since the reading takes place OFF the site ...) -- do you have an "ETA" as to when they'll have an answer?
Thanks again ....
Going to turn on and watch load..
Should I start subscribing again? Or, do you want me to wait for an official "go-ahead?"
Thanks so much for the quick response to this situation!
