Went to the tmobile store, the one near me has tons of them in stock for tomorrows sale.

The sales associate had theirs since monday and he let me tinker with it. Phone is sick! I'm getting mine tomorrow when they open up. Price without contract is 439.99.

    Good luck tomorrow everyone.

I keep hearing conflicting stories about this. Is it really $439.99 with no contract or is it higher? I have seen in a few places that $439.99 was the full upgrade price.

I sure hope $439.99 turns out to be the right price, we keep hearing $499.99 as well but I am hoping that is the price with the accessories pack. With rumors that AT&T is going to charge $349 for theirs off contract anything more then $450 would be insane.

$499 is the price for Even More Plus quoted to me by three T-Mobile stores near me. Regardless, I'm purchasing. :p

AT&T's isn't going to be $350 off contract I guarantee that. T-Mobile originally did the same thing and then the next week after it rose to $440. If however it doesn't rise and stays at $350 maybe T-mobile could do some competitive pricing.

Anyone know what the price is at RS for full price, no contract? That $60 might put me over the edge for price.

I don't think Radio Shack can offer you the $60 plan in their stores at least that's what they had told me when I was there last week. Plus you can't do the installment plan at Radio Shack either.

I played with one today; screen is very nice; sound was a bit muted/soft; the hump at the end bothered me a bit (didnt' feel natural in my hand); it locked up once on me and i had to reboot - basically i started the movie avatar; then changed the volume and in the process the phone became confused and locked up.

Well I just sold my nexus one, i'm heading over to the tmobile store tomorrow morning to pick up the Vibrant.

    I'm pretty excited.

By the way, the price is 439.99 as quoted by the telephone rep and the sales associate at the store.

    $599 at RS

$449 or 499 at Tmo definitely not over 500

You sold your Nexus One???? Why?

Nexus one has Wifi Hot Spot, Flash Camera, Flash Support (2.2), plus can be rooted if you need more.

I have a Nexus one with 2.2 on it; I wouldn't trade it for this; I will wait for a Droid X or EVO 4G type phone on Tmo.

Got the phone right at 10am today. No lines, nothing. I even got a gel case for it which I really wanted.

The phone is... amazing. It's so small. I like it with the gelcase on because it adds just enough bulk to it so I don't feel like I'm going to drop it or anything. The screen is amazing, no surprises here. Extremely speedy processor. Everything just works great.

I'm glad I got this phone instead of waiting. HTCs are nice but the super AMOLED is better :). And as far as emerald... get back to me once the battery life tests come out. 4.3 screen and dual processor? Hope you have a few spare batteries with you :p.

This is my first android phone. Had a sidekick, then a blackberry storm once that died... this blows everything away. Showed it to my friend with an iPhone 4 and he was very jealous to say the least :).

Also, Swype is absolutely amazing. I can text just as fast if not faster than when I had a physical keyboard.

    SO GO GET THIS PHONE!

I had a mytouch slide for about 2 weeks and took it back today for this phone. It's INCREDIBLE!!! I had swype on the other phone so I am already used to it. 2 weeks and I am a PRO. I LOVE it. I definitely don't need or want a physical keyboard. The screen on this phone is better than anything I've seen. It's also lighter than any phone I've played with. I also got the gel skin. Very nice. Would've preferred a different color gel skin but still nice.

This will have all those features except for the flash camera and it already has root that works. Droid X Bootloader is locked by encryption so goodluck getting custom rom's on that. Vibrant is T-Mobile's current Evo like device even more so it surpasses the evo performance wise where it matters. :p:D:cool:

I had a MyTouch Slide too, the wife got it for me for Father's Day. We're on an Even More Plus plan, so she had to pay full price for the phone. I walked into my local store at 10am today & swapped phones. I did have to pay more since the Vibrant was selling for $499, but it's completely worth it! I love this phone so far. I just wish that my local shop had some gel skins for the phone. They offered me a leather belt clip but that wouldn't work for me so I plan to get something online.
