I purchased my HTC One online and it's come from China or Japan. I managed to find the language selection in the setup page, changed to English. Trouble is now if I do an update or anything that calls for a major reboot it starts up in Chinese or Japanese.
Is there a way to change the "core" language to English.
I had to do an encryption on it the other day and when it started up in foreign language I had a bit of a panic as I couldn't read what to do next..... Got it sorted but it did cause a bit of stress for a few moments!
