Had my phone confiscated by the judge in the courthouse today. Phone was on vibrate only, I was listening to voicemails, and received an incoming call. Phone RANG -- not my normal ringtone, but rang nevertheless.

    How to prevent?

Just tested it on mine and verified the problem. It rang once audibly and then just vibrated after that. I don't see any settings that would allow you to change it. Even more troublesome is that it also does it when the ringer is turned completely off.

I can also verify this happens but not sure why. Definetly a bug. Not to say you really shouldn't be listening to voicemails in the courtroom but you may have a reason and others as well in non court room enviroments. We need to make sure this is documented bug for the next maintenance fix in the works.
