After a long fight of trying to root and failing miserably, I've gotten my phone to at least show up as a hltetmo and Samsung Android ADB Interface device on my computer, when I put the phone in recovery mode via Team Win Recovery.

Thus Letting me put stuff onto to them.

Right now, I don't know what's the next move. I feel like I'm not at full-brick status but with TWR telling me I'm at NO OS status. I'm kinda running out of ideas as doing the "Flash stock roms" keeps loading 1/10 of the way then failing.

This is the ROM, it's suppose to be stock t-mobile Note Roms.
If that is a rom, isn't it supposed to stay zipped to flash it?

Edit: for example, in the "properties" of this downloaded rom (to my computer), it's a zip file:

Also, I would assume you did not make a nandroid backup correct?;)

Thanks, so now that that's clear, OP confirm that you got the phone from t-mobile? If the code name is indeed hltetmo then your model number is actually SM-N900T.

http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N900T/

That's where you'll find stock firmware for the T-Mobile Note 3, keep in mind that if you do update to lollipop you will not be able to root, (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, don't have a note three but haven't heard much success rooting sammy's on lollipop) though I think at this point you just want a working phone.

Also, if you want root have you tried this?? Still can't tell you if it works on lollipop or not

That's a opps on my part, I own a S3 , and put in the wrong number. I'm downloading what I hope is the right rom and let you know what happens when I get home.

And yes, I did not backup before I did this, and have learned my lesson the hard way.

Where are you downloading the .tar.md5 file from? Sammobile.com?
Have you tried a different cable or computer usb port? (not sure if that is a possibility for the fail)

Edit: by the way, I moved this into the S3 forum :)

I got from the sammobile.com. If you couldnt read what my phone was saying in red.

UDC START
SW REV CHECK FAIL : [sbl1]Fused > Binary 1

And it shows it started to show it was downloading but only at one percent.

What android version were you on before all the custom recovery and supersu flashing was done? Also, did you try another version of odin? Try this one, I know for a fact it's worked on several Samsung devices I own.

Another thing, you didn't have any instances of kies running when you tried to flash with odin correct? Those two don't play together very well

it was on Lolipop. Thou, sine TRW is saying I have no OS, it makes the point kinda mute.

Tried that version Odin still the same problem.

Then I switched over to Heimdall, and even thou it detected the device, it gives me a "libusb error: -12" msg.

But it's a note 3 lol don't mean to be rude or anything but do take another look at what the screen says in the latest picture where he's on download mode, very blurry but you can just make out a "N900T"
ugh, sorry 'bout that. I was getting confused I guess between him posting the incorrect model number, and posting that he owns an S3....
I feel bad that I've thrown his thread around half the forum
Sorry about that @NotBryan .
