When I go into my gallery for pictures I have roughly 200 pictures, its annoying to find the one I want, is it possible to split them into seperate folders (e.g. "Personal", "Wallpapers", "Icons")? I don't mind downloading an app or two to achieve this, I just dont like all my photos being thrown together :(

The photo gallery will show you all folders on your SD card with images in them. Just plug your phoen into a PC and create new folders within wherever you have pictures and separate them accordingly.

I say in windows, becasue its quicker IMO. You can also Astro File manager from the market. This is a must have app anyway.

The separation in folders works only one level deep.
At least, that is my experience.

    I have on the SDCard:
    /photos/sub1/<bunch of pics here>
    /photos/sub2/<more pics here>

Making a subfolder with pictures like this:
    /photos/sub1/subsub/<even more pictures>

will show all pictures of sub1 and sub1/subsub as if in one gallery.

Both the stock HTC gallery and the google (nexus one) gallery behave like that.

Search "cubed" in the market. You'll see a result where the title is a little 3 (like the cubed sign in maths)
