Does anyone have a plain black wallpaper? Can you share?
Google search and 5 seconds of my time yielded this:
Exactly what I wanted! Thanks bigtime!
Looks Freakin Awesome!
There is also an app in Market called, "colors," which offers an array of plain .. well, colors to use as wallpapers.
Search in Market on "colors."
The easiest way I found is to turn on the camera,
put your finger over the lens and take a picture.
Save the result (a black square) and use it as wallpaper.
I tried that and couldn't live with it knowing it was really just a very, very dark picture of my finger.
just open Paint (included in Microsoft Windows), create a new 24 bit bitmap file in size 960 x 854 pixels and fill it with black (paint can). bingo! perfectly black wallpaper, finger not included.
i also added my name and phone number using the text tool in Paint (poor mans "return to owner" message since the wallpaper is visible on the lock screen too).
Hopefully an alternate phone number

You actually only need a black square about 50px sq.
Back to Black it is.
