Performance increase probably won;t be as much as you expect.

Depending on rom and optimizations, while faster, you have to remember, the Optimus V is older and was very highly tuned by developers. It was greater than the sum of it's parts.

Don't get me wrong, the One V is a nice phone and worthy upgrade, but, while you are making a jump in performance, development lags far behind the OV, which narrows that gap.

It doesn't let me download it to my One V on the play store, so probably not. The game runs on my tablet nicely, but the game itself is crap to be honest. It's true that development has slowed down for the One V, but the phone itself is far better than the Optimus V, and if you HAVE to upgrade soon than I would get a One V.

Try not to buy phones of any kind if it's not black Friday or cyber Monday, I feel like I get screwed over every time I buy a phone otherwise... They had steep discounts on black Friday on VM's good phones and they had the One V on sale for 49.99 on cyber Monday...

Running stock, I'd say the one v is a big step up from the optimus v. In every way. For only having a 1 GHz processor this thing is surprisingly responsive. I had a Huawei mercury with a 1.4 GHz processor and this is actually faster than that was. Its not a super phone like the one x, but for what it is its a quality device.
