Play Store won't work anymore.

I have a big problem with my XCover 5690.

I moved Play Store to my SD card (the phone is rooted - the 5690 has a ridiculous 160MB internal memory so it is necessary to move as much to the SD card as possible).

Ever since, it hasn't worked. There are often error dialogs flashing up when I'm not even using Play store. Sometimes they disappear before I can even read them.

After trying to open Google Play, the typical error dialog I am getting is

'The application Google Play Store (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again'

followed by a Force Close button.

I have tried unintstalling Play Store and reinstalling from an .apk file, but the behaviour of Play Store remains the same.

New apps I download from the internet version of Play Store do not arrive on my phone.

Try moving it back from the SD card and see what happens or did you try that already?

You can't move the Google service apps to SD card. Have you moved it back?

I moved it back. Then I reinstalled it from an APK file. Then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it from an APK file again. Nothing made any difference at all. I keep getting the message that process com.android.vending has stopped unexpectedly.
