When I first got my Verizon LG Vortex and hold clicked on an mp3 link in the browser, it would bring up a screen asking whether to open the link, open in new window, bookmark etc, and when I'd click on open, it would bring up another screen saying this content is downloadable or exacutable. Now when I click on an mp3 link, it will simply download it. Is there something in the settings somewhere where I can change it so it will play the mp3 instead of downloading it? Thanks

I think you need a music player app, like doubletwist or android music.

It would play the mp3s on the phone's music player before. I simply want to change it back so when I click on an mp3 it will play it rather than download it.

Are you on a download site instead of a streaming site?

Yea, it's a download link. It's actually a podcast of a radio show I like to listen to. It used to play just like using windows media player on a computer web browser instead of downloading the entire file. I didn't change anything!

I think I figured it out; the podcast mp3s used to be executable, but are now only downloadable.
