I had a download that was continuously preparing to download and every time I tried to force stop my download manager it would come back, so I cleared my download manager data thinking it was just like a short term memory for the application after seeing how small the data was. Now I cannot download ANYTHING. I can't even open google play store. It just says google play store has stopped working. I have no idea what to do at this point. Please somebody help me. I need to download more music and games :(

Hi @Johnlckhrt and welcome to Android Forums :)

I've cleared my download manager data before and haven't encountered any problems, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Could you provide some additional information?
- What is your device and carrier?
- What Android version are you on?
- Is your phone stock or rooted?
- Have you tried rebooting?
- Have you tried removing your Google account and re-adding it?
