    Hi,

I noted the s-pen and/or the S Note app, the keyboard (and the others) on my Note 10.1 (N 8013) are not set to convert handwriting into text. The S Note does not have that button that offers the option of conversion. I have only pen settings, math (f()x), and then the T for the keyboard. The keyboard does not have that button with a pen on it that offers the option for handwriting instead of typing. Instead, I have the setting button that did not lead me to any setting to change this.

How and what could I change this situation so as to enjoy my handwriting fully on this Note? Please help me.

    Thanks.

Open s note and select one of the templates. I used the 'note' template for this example. Select the icon shown in the image and begin writing. Hope this helps.

    Thank you, EnglishLad.

That's precisely my problem: I do not have the icon above you have shared with me. It is simply not there! I can't press it because it is absent altogether from the panel and therefore I cannot access the productivity tools.

So, my big problem is how to get this icon and hot to get the icon with a pen in my keyboard panel in order to hand-write.

So, I am still in a big need for help.

    Thank you.

Make sure you're in a template like meeting or note. It might not be available in other templates.

    Thank you, EnglishLad.

I did try all the templates. The icon simply does not appear in any of them. Well, I am desperate a little. But hopefully I could do something about it. For instance, I am thinking maybe I could reset to factory settings or somethings.

    Thanks again.

    EnglishLad, I found it.

Well, first, I have to say that perhaps I was so ignorant, to put nicely!

In your tablet the productivity icon appears as text, that is, as you've shown to me in the image. In my note it appeared as formula match. So, I was thinking I needed to have the formula match and another icon in the form of that handwriting-to-text conversion. But they are the same.

In the same way, in the keyboard, I pressed and held on the setting key and then selected the pen key. So, there I had it!

In any case, thank you very much.

    Blessings.
