Help please help me!

Hey guys n gals something really strange has been happening to my phone, i have a sony Ericsson xperia play, sometimes when i am on the phone to my partner i get this msg that pops up on the top of my screen "call received by other party" and "call held by other party" continuously poping up and sometimes there is even the sound of me trying to call someone at the same time as the msgs (while im still on a call), both me and my partner have call waiting and the msgs/noise doesnt come up if sum1 is trying to call us, i left my phone at an x girlfriends house not long ago, do u think she could hav put spyware on my phone? She is sneaky like that (thats y i dumped her)

That is a new on for me. I would advise initially running a software update (this will help if there are any misbehaving applications).
