Help please help Verizon S3 to metro pcs

So i have a verizon galaxy s3 that i just activated on metro pcs.

I can use the phone to make calls but can not get any data.

The data is the whole reason i switched.

The phone makes calls but above the data sign all it says is the letter e

I need help to get my data working will someone please help me this is a nightmare

First, you should check to see if the phone is compatible with Metro PCS data bands:

If it is, next try contacting Metro PCS to make sure you have the correct APN and SIM card.

If you're using MetroPCS/T-Mobile GSM service, that V-GS3 will only make phone calls, and mobile data will never work. Ever. Your only options are buy a new GSM phone, or take your GS3 to Tracfone, straight talk or Net10 if you want mobile data...

This same thing happened to somebody I know. Sorry
