Please help with my g1

im sorry if this is the wrong forum to be posting under, i am very new to this. but i got a g1 over craigslist, and i did a hard reset on it. but every time i i set u my gmail account i get a message saying "you don't have a network connection, this could be a temporary problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data services. ect.." but my data plan is unlimited talk text and web, and i had a g2 before i got this phone and it worked fine? im just very confused and getting frustrated with trying to figure this out. someone please help me!! thank you

You might want to try reentering the Apn settings for your carrier as it might not even have the information to connect to the mobile internet.

Typically your Apn settings for your carrier can be found on their website.

you had a G2.. but now have a G1; the graddaddy of android devices? that is a huge step backwards.

you could skip the setup.. then setup the WIFI connection.. then try to setup account again.

or
take it to carrier and have them test the sim card and phone's radio/ESN.
