I just found an app on the market that blocks the headset controls so it should stop most of our problems. It's called, "headset blocker". I havent had a chance to test it yet but I figured I'd let everyone know asap.

I have the same problem on my HTC desire hd every time I plunge my headphones in my my phone just starts doing random things and stats calling people no sound except screeching when I move it a tiny bit does anybody have any idea how to fix this without sending it away for 6 weeks by the way yes I have tried plenty of different earphones
