Hello everyone, I'm new. I'll cut to the chase.

I own a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. I also have iTunes. I am a fan of a particular podcast, and have 200 episodes of this podcast downloaded to a folder on my computer. So far, I have been using Media Go, which classifies these podcasts as songs, and places them in the Music section of Mediascape. However, when I go into "More" in Mediascape, I noticed there is a section for podcasts. Unfortunately, Media Go won't allow me to place these podcasts in the Podcasts section of my library, and thus forbids me from having them in the specialist podcast section. Here is my question:

How do I get all 200 episodes of my particular podcast into the podcast section of my phone? For the sake of instruction, let's assume that file size is no object.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

{my input below is based on speculation rather than direct knowledge.}

I think the question is whether the id3 is wrong (not calling them "podcast" or "speech") or id3 is right and Media Go ignores it.

I think I'd manually edit one file to see what the tag looks like. If the tag is wrong, maybe use a batch editor to change them all at once. And email the podcaster to let them know. If it's the player then that's a tougher decision.
