I was in a Sprint store in LA today and got to play with a full working Evo. Gorgeous! The interesting thing was when I was leaving. The manager asked if I wanted to pre-order one. I was my renewal credit was up until later in August. He said come back July 14th, there would be a special program for Sprint customers to renew early for full Evo credit.

I'm not trying to spread any rumors or get anyone's hopes up who has a while to wait, but that's what the guys said. Could be part of Sprint's full on advertising push for the Evo after the 6/4 soft launch.

That would be cool, but not for those like me that just can't wait and WILL pay the higher price to get their EVO's.

That would be pretty sweet if Sprint did do the early contract upgrades. I know that they already do it 2 months early (22 months rather than 24 months) for the $150 upgrade.

They can do up to 3 months or so. I just upgraded my 2-year contract, when it was set to expire 9/1/10, now the extended date is 5/23/12.

I did it for the $70 extension credit. I was already going to have to renew for the EVO anyway ;P.

I still have the $150 upgrade credit, of course.
