Is it possible to NOT activate an Android phone with a wireless carrier and use Wi-Fi to make phone calls using my Google Voice phone number?

If I BUY the phone... it's not stealing. If I use a FREE Google Voice service... it's not stealing.

Anyone who has a clue care to respond?

Last time I checked, you don't need to be using an Android phone to use Google Voice. It only works more seamlessly with it.

Odd you'd think it was "stealing".

I'd actually think it was less "stealing" than getting a very low monthly activation with a wireless carrier and then using their bandwidth to talk unlimited on your free Google Voice.

At least with the way the OP is asking he'd only be using wifi to make calls.

And yeah, the way you said "no. it's stealing" was kinda rude, and yes, his reply was rude too.
