Just got my EVO a couple days ago so I am still learning. Where do I download widgets?? Also it has a widget to turn on and off 4g, wifi, gps. Is there any way that I can add a toggle for turning on off mobile network and cdma vs. gsm? I have a horrible signal at my office so the phone constantly searches for a signal and kills my battery. I dont want to turn on airplane mode becasue I do still get calls and need my phone to at least kind of work.

I appreciate the help. I have already been i the must have app thread and have been filling up my phone.

    From the market.

Long press home screen-Add Widget-Settings-Mobile Network.

There is no GSM radio on the evo, just cdma.

I highly recommend Dazzle Configurable Switch! Not only can you chose what widget size you want, but also which controls you want on it. I use the 1x2 size with 5 controls which takes up little space.

I'd like to know this too. I've tried a lot of widgets to try and turn off the mobile internet, but none of them work.

That doesn't really do it though, but I FINALLY found a widget that turns off mobile internet. Extended Controls. The "Data Network" option will allow you to turn on and off the mobile internet as long as it's set to "on" by using the power button. If it's set to off from the power button, the widget doesn't work properly though. Weird, but it works! Yay!

Sorry, should've been clearer. The mobile internet widget is an HTC widget, but since I'm using Launcher Plus Pro I don't have access to it.

The SwitchPro widget has pretty much any radio/power toggle you could need. Wifi, data connection, bluetooth, gps, auto-sync, airplane mode, brightness, battery indicator, vibrate/silent mode, auto-rotate screen, screen always on, reload media, unlock pattern, reboot, flashlight, 3g-2g, speaker mode, auto-screen lock, mount/unmount storage, wi-fi hotspot, 4g toggle.

All available on the same bar across the screen (up to 8). I haven't used the Extended Controls, though they appear to be similar.

    It's available in the market.

Looks like it does exactly all the same stuff as Extended Controls. Just sayin'. :)
