Has anyone tried using other micro USB powercords with the Nexus 10? I have several from my Motorola Razr but I am not sure if the voltage is correct. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Scott :wavey: Welcome to the forums.

Generally speaking, tablets use 2 amp charger and phones 1 amp. If you used your phone charger on your N10, it may charge but slowly. If you're talking about just the cord itself, I'm not sure it matters.

Thanks for the response. I am just hesitant to use it. This is a replacement N10. My original had a problem of shutting down every time I plugged it in or unplugged it. It also never showed an accurate power level. I used the cord mention in my post and I am just trying to eliminate anything that could have caused the power problems. I didnt think it would do anything to it, that's why I was wondering if anyone else is using different cords.

I've used the cord that came with my phone. Didn't seem to bother it.

I use several different cords to charge my 10. Most of them are cheap 99 cent eBay cables and my 10 always says 100% charged when its done.

    No worries mate.
