    not sure what i wanna do right now =( if i should go out to RS and preorder the phone or wait till the 4th and use the student discount thing and get it online.

    you can just add the discount to your account, when you activate your phone, talk to a Sprint Rep, and explain the deal.

    I believe if you sign up a new student account online (or maybe it was over the phone?) you receive free activation and a $50 credit towards the phone purchase (on top of the new phone price, so $150) if you sign up as a student.
