Wanted to know if I can use this sprint note 3 that I got off eBay on a prepaid plan. Talked to two sprint customer care people and they both said I could do it in store but both acted like I couldn't at first. Hoping I didn't waste my money.

Wanted to know if I can use this sprint note 3 that I got off eBay on a prepaid plan. Talked to two sprint customer care people and they both said I could do it in store but both acted like I couldn't at first. Hoping I didn't waste my money.

I don't know what all has to be done in order for the phone to be usable on another network, but i know others have done it. Just as a specific example, I've seen others say they've successfully changed a Sprint Note 3 to work on Cricket's network. As for the customer care folks and their hesitation, my guess is that their motives were greed-related.
