Root Preparing phone storage, checking for errors

I am rooted, s off, 2.15 radio, running Froyo from Incredible_Froyo_3.21.605.1_rooted_unmodified_signed.zip.

Everything is running fine. I can access the SD card and the phone storage without any errors.

However, I have a constant notification that reads "preparing phone storage.....checking for errors....."

I took out the SD card before booting, and I still have the error message. Therefore, it is not the SD card. I have searched around and cannot find a way to get rid of the message. Help!!

looks like a resync with usb cable fixed
