Well, I happened to stumble upon a pretty cool app today called mint (mint.com)

I was looking for a TD bank app and couldn't fine one, but mint is pretty cool for tracking finances. You can link your savings / checking, all your credit cards. See live up to date data with budgets. Really cool, much better and more than I was looking for and expecting.

I think it's brand new to android but you're going to want to set it up online first. If this has been posted before my apologies. Just figured I'd pass it along.

Been using Mint for years now, glad they finally brought the app to android a few days ago. Its an awesome way to really manage your finances.

edit: Btw if you use the webapp, you will notice that now they track pending transactions, this was added just a few weeks ago.

Never even heard about it until about 3 hours ago. I'm blown away with how convenient and beneficial this is and is going to be for me.

Thanks for posting this! Mint was one of the first apps I tried to get when I got the Incredible last Thursday. Was sad not to see it..guess they made an app since then, yay!! It is super awesome at tracking expenses, tracking stock/mutual fund portfolios, loans, etc. Crossing my fingers that its as good as the Iphone app..

Ya, Mint is awesome, glad to see an app. Only thing missing is the cool trends charts.

To the OP, if you are using TD ameritrade, download iStockmanager. It's one of the best apps available for anything, IMO, and it is linked to my stocks and IRA accounts. Pretty awesome.

I can see my 401k performance through Mint.

Mint is read-only (that's part of the reason so many people trust it)

Should you not be nervous giving all of your account information over a cell phone network? I had always heard they weren't as secure, is that a myth?

By coincidence I signed up for mint this morning and I have to agree it is pretty awesome and convenient, and the android app is great too! The only thing better would be if Google released a personal budget tracking service.

By read-only, I meant it can't transfer funds or alter the accounts themselves.

Wow, this is very cool app/widget. I'm terrible with budgeting and will do anything to try to ignore it. With this widget in my face daily, I can see this being a big help. AND FREE!!! Thanks guys.

I made an account and had to have it reset the password to get the app to let me log in.

Well it's all setup through the web which is secured by Verisign high grade 256 bit encryption (my banks website is 128 bit FWIW). The only visible data over the phone would be numbers, such as credit card debt, banking balances, etc...

That data would be useless to an e-thief since none of your actual account information is displayed other than the credit card company names or the bank's name, etc.
