I'm not sure how you would do that to be honest. But, if it turns out that you cannot find a way, you can try the ShootMe app. It will screenshot those text messages for you.

You might be able to contact VM and see if they can email you the text messages. No idea if they actually can or will do that though.

You can forward them to your email, or your lawyer's email and print from email. Shoot me is another good option.

Can't you view all of your messaging on virginmobileusa.com? I'm like 90% you can.

I know theres a link to see your sms activity, but I've never actually looked at it so idk if it shows the content of the messages or not. Best bet would be to check it out on the site

you CAN NOT see your messages in your account detail online.

You can ONLY see the date and time a message was sent.

So, your 90% you can, is a 0% you can't.

    Sorry.......

I had to help my boss with this yesterday on the exact same phone, for the same purpose. We found out that you have to press and hold the text message that you want and some boxes will pop up, one of which is "forward". Choose forward and email, enter the email address and you've got it. I have the regular Droid and tried it on mine and it works on it, too.
    Good luck in court!

I have to do the same thing... have text messages admitted into evidence. My lawyer told me that the versions of the messages from my gmail account are not good evidence as they can be manipulated & are copies.

    Did this work for you?

Does anyone know a way to print SMS (or MMS) directly from an android (Droid 2 Global) phone to printer?

That is great. But an iPhone is not an Optimus V, and therefore the above information is really not helpful for the question posted.

I use a free app called "sms to html". It copies ALL your texts to your sd card. I then either hook up my phone to the pc or remove the sd card and hook to my pc. You can then copy over to your pc and print. The format is a little strange so I copy it to another folder as a Word document but can be used as is.

Um, Mighty text for the win. It syncs your texts in real time to your computer. In other words, you can text from your desktop in real time. All you'd need to do is hit "print" and you are off to the races.

I'd use EasySMS (in the PlayStore). It lets you read and enter SMS from any computer.

Then just click on select entire thread on the computer and copy and paste it into a word processor and print. I've done it before.

If you just need to save/ print text messages .You can do simple screen capture . Simultaneously press 'power' and 'volume down' buttons to capture the screen. Then, you can save or share the image, or even print it out .

Old thread, but for any who may be interested...
As an attorney (no longer practicing) I can tell you that any of the options that allow you to copy to another format are subject to evidentiary objection.

It's best to simply bring up the text and take a picture of it. I'm not sure if the Optimus V (my old phone) will do screenshots, if not then just take a picture with a camera.

In court you'll authenticate the picture (since you took it) and that will be the end of the evidentiary inquiry.

    Good luck to you.
