Hi, I am new in the forum and in the Android world.

i just got my new phone Samsung Galaxy S 3 and i played with it and i like it a lot.

i set up 2 emails: the company and personal one.

the question is how can i do get my personal email automatically? instead of refreshing it every time to check if i have email. I don't get any email if i don't go to the mail app and then select the account and press on the top side the little icon to retrieve email.

    Do i make myself clear?

i used to have another phone i did n't have to anything like this.

i hope someone can help me and explain what i did wrong or it is how Android works.

    Thank you very much.

You should be able to open the mail app and see your accounts listed. menu>settings and choose the account you want to modify. Scroll down and you should see a setting for how often it polls the account.
