Help Problem with mobile data in Samsung galaxy I5801

Hi Folks,

I have been having this miserable problem with mobile data since a week. The mobile data is always 'on'. I try switching it off, but when it sleeps and I wake it up again, the mobile data gets switched on again.

Tried many things but with no use. I have had significant internet charges and loss of battery life daily. Please help me out of this mess.

had the same problem, two months of bills 10x normal amount, (yup 10x)
disable apn setting or install apndroid from the market.
