Help Problem with S3 after Master Reset

So I upgraded to the S5 on friday, and had plans of selling my S3.

This phone is in excellent shape and I've never had any issue with it whatsoever. I did the master reset to clear everything out and put it back to stock. It went through its normal routine, until it came time to reboot. Now when it tries to reboot, or you power the phone on, it gets hung on start up screen and wont continue.

Any ideas or thoughts as to how i can get past this? Or is it a nice paper weight now?

This is probably nothing that Odin and a full stock firmware can't fix.

Did you have your device rooted or no?

How long did you give the device to power up before you pulled the battery?

No not rooted. All stock.

Maybe a minute or so and i pulled the battery. Tried to restart again, and same thing.

Interesting, when you do a reset it can take up to a few minutes to boot up.

Try giving it around 5 minutes before pulling the battery again.

If it still does the same, what's your carrier? Then we'll locate a stock firmware you can flash via Odin for it.

Carrier is AT&T.

Still nothing and I let it sit for almost 10 minutes. On the start up it goes through the Samsung screen first, then the Galaxy S3 screen, and then hangs on the AT&T screen. In addition, the blue notification led pulses.

Instructions

Extract (unzip) the firmware file

Download*Odin v3.09

Extract Odin zip-file

Open Odin v3.09

Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)

Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin

Add the firmware file to AP / PDA

Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked

Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes

After that you should be good to go

Ok, so I finally got around to trying this and I'm having issues.

I've done everything listed, and for some reason Odin keeps giving me the failed signal. What am i doing wrong?
