Problem with texting after activationSupport

    I just bought two of these yesterday, activated em both, and put a $45 plan on both, everything works except texting, and virgin support is helping me none at all, any ideas guys? Thanks in advance

    Try going into your settings>about phone and update your PRL and Profile. See if that helps.

    Thanks for the tip, my girlfriend figured it out, they didn't activate them right, she had to sit on the phone for over an hour, their help line supports gone down

    As a general guide, when you first get your phone. Don't turn it on. Go to virginmobileusa.com and activate your device through their website. Then wait about 5 minutes and turn on your phone, it should do a hands free activation and it should be successful!

    It was fixed, all it took was for me to manually do a system update, then update my profile
