Help Problems connecting to playstation 3

I am trying to connect my s4 to my ps3 to see my pictures on my tv.

The playstation recognizes the samsung in meda servers, there is a picture folder, but the folder is empty.

I am having no luck using screen mirroring either, as that does not recognize the ps3.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I should try next?

Okay, I got it. For some reason the photo folder on the media servers won't show the pics but the "photo" tab will.

I also see that you need a $70 dongle to use the screen mirroring with my tv.
