I have the same issue, e.g may be it has to do with the fact that my phone after I got it from BoostMobile and activated it, it did a system update for version LG855ZV4. May be they fix the exploit.

What version is your phone one?

I would bet that is exactly what it is.. If you have done the OTA Update from ZV3/ZV9 to ZV4/ZVC than the original Rooting Exploit has been blocked. You would need to try to roll back to stock via KDZ/CAB, or just wait it out to see if omeone can get another exploit going.

Yes this is what I did, rolled back to ZVC on my Boost Phone, then installed root and CWM and applied the rooted ZV4 update.

Now back in business. The guides for all this are in this forum and very helpful, read them also further down, e.g. I had an issue with the boot loop and they had under 9b as solution which worked for me.

    Great work, keep it up.

    Thanks

HI, how did you back it up so that you can root your phone? If you could give some step by step instructions that would be excellent.

At the moment there is no way to root the phone with the update, you have to roll it back to stock using the method posted above
