Thought I would list the apps I have installed and a short description of how they run.

    Apps installed:

Barcode scanner: Actually came in handy at Target. Kid wanted a toy and had no price on it. Scanned it, found it. It was too much put it back!

Baseball Superstars 2009: Trial but you can play a full game and homerun derby, passes the time, looks decent.

ESPN News Widget: Updates about once a day, but keeps you decently informed

Fresh Face: Only use it to change wallpaper

Hi AIM: This program causes my phone to lag but works alot better than the AIM on the phone. Doesn't sign you out all he time like the AIM that comes with phone.

imeem Mobile: For the most part it will find the artist your looking for. Its music and streams well, even when not in 3G area.

K-9 email: Use this program for all Pop3 accounts. Gives you the option of how often you want to pull email. From 1 minute to never. More user friendly that the gmail app on the phone.

OffiViewer: Works well for documents under 1mg. Problem is it sends file to their server, converts it and sends it back. I use it for PDF and PPS

PDANet: So I can tether my phone to my laptop. Worth the money. Speeds of 2.4Mbps. About 4 times faster than dialup. I'm not in 3g area so its all edge speed.

Phonebook: Just a cleaner look than the contacts program that comes with phone.

Shazam: Put phone up to speaker it tells you all the info you want to know about the artest and song.

Sky Map: Hold up toward sky and it tells you were to look for constellations, planets, ect.

SMS Unread Count: Gives you a indicator on your notification bar of how many msg you missed or have.

SportsTap: Nice program that includes a widget. Notifies you in the notification bar when your favorite teams game starts, when they score and when its over. Very good program if your into sports.

    Voicemail: visual voicemail

Where: Uses your GPS. Gives you weather, restaurants and so on. Good program to have

Phone will get laggy at times. I make sure I close out of applications when im done with them, clear application cache, browser cache and history. Also make sure I close out all browser windows.

I mentioned phone gets laggy at times. After much trouble shooting I found out my lag comes from the AIM program I installed. I can live with it for now.

    That's my experience with MyTouch.

You should have posted this in the "Favorite Apps" thread

Get Task Killer, and kill all the tasks you dont use to speed up the phone

Task Panel is better, it lets you set up a "Wanted List" that goes after apps and kills them in the background whenever you start running low on memory.

I second the Taskpanel suggestion. The wanted list works great it keeps my phone running smooth.
