So, now that several videos have shown us that the PSP phone is "real," (Google it) what do you all think? Are you excited? Or do you think it's a fail waiting to happen?

I just wanna run Nesoid and Snesoid on that bad boy. Nesoid is playable on the EVO, but Snesoid kinda sucks because the touchscreen controls just can't compare to a physical controller. This phone would kick @$$ on my daily commute! I could care less about PSP games...

I'm especially curious to hear what the developers on this board think about the possibilities...

Personally I think its a great concept and I'd love to have one myself if I hadn't already purchased a Desire on launch :D The game pad would make gaming many times more enjoyable.

Unless they make it work with actual playstation games (emulator doesnt count as it SUCKS), I don't see much point in using it over my Epic with Game Gripper:

IF I hadn't just gotten the Evo and IF Sprint gets it (doubyfully) I would consider it. It would definately get alot more support from big names like EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc.

    Hey,

It will be interesting to see what Sony do to set it apart from all the other Android phones (other than the game pad obviously). Will it have massive graphics capabilities etc?

If the hardware/api's (maybe some sort of sony dev kit) differ in some way then developers may have to start bringing out versions of their game that target the PS phone specifically, I am also assuming Sony will have a PS phone app store for said titles.

Oh well have to wait and see but it looks like one to keep an eye on!

looks promising, but I hope that slide-out pad is just the prototype....it's ugly as sin :p

The rest of the phone looks sexy, though!!! and I love seeing 2.3 in action with the newest leaked vid :D

Depends on the games that get released for it, if it's just for use with standard Android games I don't really see the point as most won't support it.
