Does anyone know where I could get the APK for this game from?

It hasn't been released in the UK Google Play Store.

Even though it is a free app I don't think getting the apk will do you any good for that game. My suggestion is to contact the developer here GungHo Online Entertainment America :: Contact and see if they can hook you up.

I got the apk online from a different source and it worked, however, there are big updates sometimes, like the NGE event, and then the game says, ok please update through the play store.

however making a US google account for the US play store is very quick and simple, which is what I did.

Ah I see. How do you make a US Play account?

you can do it on your phone, there are guides online I think thats how I did it

I think you'd just need to use a VPN that will fool the network to think you're in the US and not the UK, and it would work fine then.

That's what I do, VPN into the US Play Store from a PC, not Play on the device itself because that uses other ways to geo-locate you, not just your IP address. With a US IP address and web browser you'll get the US Play website, and you should be able to install the game.

That never worked for me. I have a Google UK account, but unless I'm using a VPN, Play has me as being in China. Which means I get the Chinese Play Store.
