Q: Exchanging incredible, will i get a refurb or ....General

    iirc it's a refurb if it's outside of 30 days?

    i think there's a new policy to charge you $35?

    i am getting two refurbs on tue, they gave me the option to wait a month for new ones or get refurbs right away since i am replacing both within the 30 days

    Talking about going through the insurance or what...?
    I went through Asurion recently and got a brand new DINC.
    Heard that 4/5 are new since they don't really have all that many to refurb at the moment since its a newish phone.

    Mines coming in tomorrow, had to get a new one because of a water+phone=problem lol. The rep from Asurion said about 80% are brand new because the demand is so high for the phone in general and because the don't get to many refurbs. Whether any of this is true I don't know, just relaying what they told me.

    if its within 30 days, you will get a brand new one, otherwise it will be a refurb...
    but i just read a post that said there is a 60 day worry free guarantee, so it may be 60 days to get a brand new one

    Im on my 2nd refurb unit, all 3 phone suck, no reception, as a mobile computer there awesome, as a phone, all I get is "signal fade, call dropped" trying to send it back a go with something else I can actually make a call with

    I got a new one from Asurion early this week. I have to send it back b/c the screen is pink & gray and not bright & crisp like it should be.

    Within 30 days of activation: You get a brand new phone from Verizon, but it will be backordered.

    After 30 days of activation: You will get a refurbished phone when it becomes available.

    I called Verizon and they told me on the 20th (when I first called) that they don't have any available that day and that they would ship one out as soon as possible for me when it's available. My refurbished was shipped on the 23rd and will arrive tomorrow, the 28th.

    what do they do to refurbish the phone? i called Verizon on Thursday and I'm receiving a replacement in the mail tomorrow. do you think it will be refurbished? if so, hopefully the screen isn't all scratched to s**t. my screen was in pristine condition. it just kept freezing on me.

    If it is NOT up to your standards, then you can request for a different device. I spoke with a CSR today about it and she explained to me that when they get a device, they do any fixes that it needs. She did say that it can have cosmetic flaws. If you do NOT accept these potential flaws, then simply contact Verizon and explain the issue and they will issue you another phone.

    Usually refurbished phones look new.

    And they've probably been tested more than the brand new phones
