first time i killed EVERY task & ran it.. i got an 879 (imo seems WAY too low)
i mean the last benchmark i ran was on my D2 which was defective but i was still like double 1400 (i know that had 2.2 & this doesnt) but its a Galaxy S shouldnt it at least be 1000 area? post your benchmarks please ;)

EDIT : i ran it one more time after that & got an 877 .. both times btw it said i had an internal error AFTER i saw the score..

899 here. One of the other galaxy phones I was reading people had it up to 2200 with lag fixes (root). not sure if anyone has played around with that yet.

2.2 makes a HUGE difference as well.

You guys are lucky. I'm getting 854~855 each time. And I'm rooted. I even changed SetCPU to Performance to keep it at 1ghz, and it stayed the same.

Funny thing is that I was at 855 before closing apps. I closed all apps and it dropped! I just did the lag fix and I just got 1992!

WARNING: I did do it, and it's super faster, but you will lose 1GB of internal memory!

Are you using a custom kernel? Its crazy that just being rooted would increase your benchmark that drastically.

I actually didn't see the jump from 800-900 to 2000+ until I ran OCLF.

Dont stress. LOL. I felt bad until I ran the NeoCore benchmark. It shows the Fascinates to dominate. Try that and that should put a smile on your face :)

I went from 850 to 2230 after rooting and applying the lag fix.

I don't see Neocore in the Market.

All devices are lower with 2.1. 2.2 will make this device one of the top performers.
