Question about Contacts list?

Hi everyone,

This question has been asked before but there has been no answer for it. I have a Samsung galaxy 3. I have a back up of all my contacts in my sim card. In the contacts list I have chosen display phone contacts only and everything is well. But when I go to message and type in contacts name 2 names appear for every contact (One from phone one from Sim card) I don't want to delete the contacts from the sim card.

How can i fix this problem? I only want my phone contacts displayed in my message box and not my sim contacts. I have disabled sim contacts but it still shows. Can anyone help me?

Messages use the contacts of the dialer.
When you use the dialer, you'll see phone and SIM contacts both.

As far as I know, there is only one solution: Deleting the SIM contacts
