Root Question about rooting carrier unlocked inspire 4g

I have a Htc inspire 4g carrier unlocked with the latest at&t upgrade to 2.3.5
I want to know if there is any procedure when doing the process that's different with a carrier unlocked inspire when rooting. I found this link and wanted to know if this is where I need to start

Moved to Inspire 4G - All Thing Root for better exposure.

yes. htcdev is where you need to start. afterward,if you want s off and superCID,you will need to follow this guide: http://androidforums.com/desire-hd-...-s-off-simunlock-supercid-inspire-4g-dhd.html

if all you need is root access for some root apps,you can stop after htcdev. if you wish to install custom roms on your phone,i would encourage you to become s off,as it makes the rom flashing process much easier
