Just got Swype on my phone... PUMPED!!! Just wanted to know will it ever go away or stop working because its in beta I guess? Its version 1.56 and I downloaded via .apk from another site not from official swype beta email list thing. Swype is pretty amazing, just got to add new words that it doesn't have on it though.

Swype is only supported though their beta program. It is very likely your choy will expire unless you got one someone modified to not expire. If yours does expire you will have to get their official paid version if out or break the rules again for a new unofficial version of the beta.

I dont see why they wont release it, it works fine. The longer they wait, the longer its going to lose interest.

I've been using it since the first beta came out and love it. I find myself swyping my phone dialer sometimes wondering why THAT doesn't work then realize I'm trying to dial a number and not enter text. LOL

It was available at the official swype site but now the testing is closed and you can only register to be notified when/if it re-opens.

I PM'd you the link. Its .apk, just move it to your phone and use astro to install. Go to settings and make sure you enable swype and your all good to go. Just long press text input area and switch text input.
