I often share my phone with the family while at home because I don't have a land line. Is there a way to setup some kind of security so when others use the phone to make/receive calls they cannot access my email, sms, etc.? Something similar to user accounts on a Windows computer?

I don't know of a way to set up security accounts, but there are lots of apps around that you can use to individually secure applications. I was going to start pasting links but the reality is that there are a lot of old and new links and you'd probably do better to just poke around Appbrain looking for something to password protect an application.

I've heard good things about App Protector:

App Protector Pro - Android app on AppBrain

    Thanks a lot...

I just purchased the app and it's exactly what I was looking for. Now my sensitive data is protected. I just hope it doesn't stop email/sms notifications, haven't got one yet.
