Hello, While purchasing the Motorola Droid from Best Buy in December, I also purchased what I was led to believe was an extended policy to protect the phone from loss or theft. Unfortunately, I have now misplaced the phone (Ok-lost) and am trying to communicate with Best Buy regarding this problem. I have my receipt; however, it does not appear that Best Buy covers phones under their Replacement Policy from loss or theft.

Has anyone had a similar incident with a policy? I've researched on the Best Buy website and have not been able to find anything that addresses this.

    Thank you.

That's correct. No loss or theft coverage under Black Tie Protection. See brochure. Perhaps try a homeowner's or renter's insurance claim.
