Root -Quick Help Please- Signauture Not Verified ?!

HI all,

Have run into a weird issue.

HTC Desire - Rooted - LeeDrOiD_2.1A.

After a failed ROM installation, performed Clockwork Recovery back to LeeDrOiD.

Had a few issues with installing apps.

Went to Reflash the ROM, just incase there was an issue with the recovery.

It now informs me that the "Signature is not Verified".

It's the exact same file I used to install it in the first place...

Can anyone help??

Did you wipe the dalvik cache & do the wipe & factory reset first from the clockwork menu?

Didn't perform those - from what I can recall it happens automatically??

I opened ROM Manager, made sure the Clockwork Recovery was up to date, selected Install ROM From SD Card, Ticked Backup, Ticked Wipe Cache and Data ... rebooted, came up with the ! symbol in a triangle, said signature not verified

Clockwork doesn't need signed zips to install. There is a toggle somewhere I believe to toggle on off signature verification.

Although you may be having an issue with recovery.

No problem we were all noobs at some point.
Try doing the recovery direct from the clockwork menu, turn your phone off then turn it on while holding volume down button.
Select recovery & in the menu that appears select the wipe ones , anyone first followed by the other.
Then select nandroid restore.
sometimes it works better direct than with rom manager.
