quick sd/rom question

    When i drag a new rom onto my sd card should i remove the old one that is on there as im putting the new one on? example: i have smoked glass v5 and im upgrading to v6.

    Yea I would remove it or at least put it inside it's own folder if you want to keep it on there.

    It pays to keep the previous version around in case you want to go back. Always do a Nandroid (or Clockwork) backup so you can restore your entire setup if there are problems. You can always store your old ROMS on your PC to save SD space (someday I will open a ROM museum :)).

    What format is the ROM in? Is it a nandroid? Is it a .tgz? If it is a nandroid then you can leave it where it is with no worries but if it is a .tgz I would either delete it or put it inside it's own folder.

    both are .rom.tgz roms

    also i keep the backup from my very first time i rooted about a month ago, its saved on my computer etc. do i have to keep making backups or can i just go to that one if somthing happens?
