OK so basically i downloaded the program "quick system info" and i wanted to see at what speeds my nexus one was running at. Turns out if i keep clicking refresh the speed refreshes as well and i come up with speeds of 460.8mhz, 245.0mhz, 998.4mhz, 245.0mhz, etc. You get the idea. What happened to the extra fast snap dragon that supposed to be running at 1ghz. Why is my speed fluctuating so bad. Anyone else have this??

Kinda of upsetting knowing this phone isnt performing at optimal sped.

"optimal" is determined by the phone. It fluctuates to only run as fast as needed (saves battery!).

If you had something like superPI - or some benchmark tool you'd see when needed it will go at full speed.

Remember speed step on Intel's? Like that.

    hth!

if you have some video running, then run your program i'd be curious what the proc runs at then. It needs a workload to run @ full speed.

I have met young male drivers who are only content when their car engines run at maximum revs....

    Cheers!
