    hi
Just wondering how the fm-radio in desire works. is it like in other phones where u have to use the headset for the radio to work?
And another question to those that might have tried, how long would the battery last when using fm- radio?

hi, yes you need the headphones in for the radio to work (think they use the cable as an aerial).

you could always use one of the applications for radio which should then play through the speaker, but obviously this is data usage and more battery drain

It would be nice if you didn't need the headphones for the radio.
